Monte Monash

Monte Corbett Monash is the CEO of Monash Advisory Group, LLC (MAG), founded in 2008 to provide business development, public relations and consulting services to businesses, non-profit organizations, and government agencies. MAG supports both global and domestic companies with large-scale infrastructure projects, meeting facilitation for internal and external stakeholders, and various municipal services.

Monte brings over 25 years of experience in consulting and non-profit management. Prior to founding MAG, she held executive roles at a prominent global engineering and construction company, a national non-profit organization, and a government affairs firm. She is a distinguished professional, well-regarded by her peers and clients alike, known for her creativity, strategic thinking, and ability to promote innovative solutions to complex problems.

Monte is a proud, native Washingtonian and a long-time community advocate in support of organizations that advance environmental interests, resources for seniors, and programming for youth in health, wellness and education.

Monte is a person of action with a big heart for the community. She is a current board member of Seabury Aging Resources, DC PAC board member for ACEC-MW, DC Attorney General External Affairs Council, Advisory Council member of Smart City Expo USA, Executive board member of COMTO DC, member of the DC Public Service Commission Advisory Council, Advisory Council member of The River School, founding member of Women in Infrastructure, Think Tank board member of Hempsulation.   

Discovery Creek Children’s Museum, as well as the executive director of the Best Friends Foundation. These organizations established her interests in issues related to the environment and social justice for children in the arenas of health, wellness and education.  

Ms. Monash is the current board of trustees chair of the DC Public Library, co-chair of the Skyland Workforce Center Leadership Council, board member of Seabury, founding member of Women In Infrastructure, former vice chair of the board for Friendship Place, former treasurer of the District of Columbia’s Commission for Women, as well as a dedicated volunteer for school activities and many other causes and organizations.

Ms. Monash earned her bachelor’s degree from Mount Vernon College in Washington, DC. She lives in The District of Columbia with her husband and their two sons.

Michelle Pourciau

Michelle Pourciau is an accomplished executive leader with extensive experience in both public and private sectors, specializing in public engagement, planning, and regulatory compliance. She has held key leadership roles as Director of the Baltimore City Department of Transportation and Director of the District of Columbia Department of Transportation, both through Mayoral appointments. In addition to her public service, Ms. Pourciau has provided operational management, project delivery, and public quality assurance oversight within the private sector.


Throughout her career, Michelle has served in quasi-judicial roles, vigilantly protecting the public interest in the provision and compliance of utility and infrastructure services. Her work has ensured the delivery of safe, reliable, and high-quality utilities—including electric, natural gas, telecommunications, and water and sewer—to residents, businesses, and visitors across Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, Maryland, always with a focus on economy and fiduciary responsibility.

Recognized as an expert in transportation and urban planning at national, regional, and local levels, Michelle has consistently advocated for the empowerment of women and the protection of vulnerable communities, including communities of color. As the first and only woman Director for both DDOT and Baltimore City's DOT, she oversaw thousands of municipal employees, managed multi-million-dollar budgets, and led critical public program initiatives.

Her municipal leadership spans numerous public priorities such as bridges, roads, utility conduit coordination, regulatory compliance, sidewalks, bike lanes, traffic signals, street lights, transit, and intelligent transportation systems (ITS). With decades of service, her central commitment has been to safeguard infrastructure users by fostering public engagement in a transparent and inclusive way.

Michelle has been a dedicated resident and homeowner in Washington, D.C. since 1980, bringing over 20 years of hands-on experience in policy, management, and regulation for major infrastructure projects, including public utilities, transportation, and environmental quality. She has also served on boards, commissions, task forces, and a wide range of organizations in the District of Columbia and Maryland, contributing adjudication, leadership, and policy expertise for utility services.
