Monte Monash

Monte Monash, CEO & President of the Monash Advisory group, is a native Washingtonian with over 20 years of experience in advocacy and management.

Monash Advisory Group was established in January 2008 to provide business development and public relations consulting services. The firm assists global and domestic companies on large scale infrastructure projects and other municipal services.  

Ms. Monash has 20 years of government affairs and non-profit management experience. Prior to establishing her own firm, Monte was an executive in the Office of Government Relations for Parsons Corporation, a leading global engineering and construction company. In addition, she has done advocacy, program development and training for non-profits, along with private sector political engagement.   

Monte is a native Washingtonian and active community volunteer. Her interests in government was sparked when appointed as a U.S. Congressional Page.
The early years of her career included serving as the development and educational specialist for  

Discovery Creek Children’s Museum, as well as the executive director of the Best Friends Foundation. These organizations established her interests in issues related to the environment and social justice for children in the arenas of health, wellness and education.  

Ms. Monash is the current board of trustees chair of the DC Public Library, co-chair of the Skyland Workforce Center Leadership Council, board member of Seabury, founding member of Women In Infrastructure, former vice chair of the board for Friendship Place, former treasurer of the District of Columbia’s Commission for Women, as well as a dedicated volunteer for school activities and many other causes and organizations.

Ms. Monash earned her bachelor’s degree from Mount Vernon College in Washington, DC. She lives in The District of Columbia with her husband and their two sons.
